The Legend Bike Race

RF Events is excited to bring back The Legend Bike Race in 2023! The course will be an 8 mile loop at Sleepy Hollow State Park in Laingsburg, MI. This will be a time trial cross country MTB race on an 8 mile loop course with aid at the start and finish.

All finisher's will receive a The Legend Trail Races wooden medal.

Double Dare

Run The Legend Trail Race on Saturday, August 5th, and complete The Legend Bike Race on Sunday, August 6th to take the Dare! All finisher's of the DOUBLE DARE will receive a wooden bottle opener and be eligible for Double Dare Awards! Awards will go to the top male and female in each Double Dare category (listed below).

Format	This will be a time trial cross-country MTB race on an 8 mile loop course with aid at the start and finish. Race starts will be self-seeded within your "category." Category options are Beginner, Intermediate, and Expert and must be selected during registration.

Time Limit Please note, the course closes at 1:30pm. All racers must be off the course by this time.
Packet Pick up and Late Registration: Friday, August 4 from 4:00PM - 6:00PM at the beach parking area in Sleepy Hollow State Park. Saturday morning beginning at 6:45AM - 7:45AM at the same location (Sleepy Hollow State Park). Sunday morning beginning at 6:30AM and will remain open until 15 minutes prior to each race start, at the same location (Sleepy Hollow State Park).
Awards Men's and Women's overall awards (top 3) for each race (8M, 16M, and 24M) Custom finisher's medals for all finishers! CHIP TIMING FOR ALL AWARDS Double Dare awards will be given to the male and female with the overall fastest combined time in each Double Dare race category (5M run - 8M bike, 10M run - 16M bike, and 13.1M run - 24M bike.
